In a post on X on Tuesday, Rezaei said the United States has not brought security any country in the region and called for preventing any foreign intervention.

“Washington’s inability to provide security guarantees has become evident,” he wrote.

“Security in West Asia must originate from within the region itself, and any foreign intervention must be prevented,” he added.

The remarks come amid heightened US military activity in West Asia and increasingly hostile rhetoric by American officials against the Islamic Republic.

Tehran has repeatedly warned that US bases and naval assets across the region will be targeted in response to any renewed aggression against Iranian territory.
