President Masoud Pezeshkian, during his visit to Qom, met separately with two senior Shiite clerics. In these meetings, Ayatollah Hossein Nouri Hamedani and Ayatollah Naser Makarem Shirazi emphasized the importance of preserving national unity, supporting the diplomatic process, and prioritizing efforts to improve the livelihoods of the Iranian people. They also stressed the Supreme Leader's role as the ultimate authority in decision-making, as well as the need to strengthen public confidence and stabilize the market.
