The Iranian delegation, headed by Central Bank of Iran official Hossein Kashiri, held talks with Belarusian counterparts on ways to remove obstacles to banking and currency transactions on Saturday.
The two sides also agreed to establish a regular mechanism for meetings between the central banks, commercial banks and financial institutions of the two countries to support trade, economic activity and mutual investment.
Kashiri said Iran’s banking and financial institutions are ready to facilitate direct investment and the participation of Belarusian banks in major economic and commercial projects in Iran.
