Based on the cabinet's new approval, the profit of different types of meat has been reduced to zero, IRNA reported on Sunday.
The government's previous approval had allocated 11% of profit to meat imports; meanwhile, meat imports' tariffs were removed according to the latest approval of the cabinet.
Recently, the price of domestic meat had been increased across Iran.
