In a message to commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Navy Rear Admiral Ali Ozamaei on the occasion of Day of the IRGC Naval Force, Irani said the sea, for Iran, is an arena of vital interests and one of the most important manifestations of safeguarding national security and authority, a front whose protection requires men who combine faith and knowledge with courage and readiness, and who appear on the scene without delay in moments of danger.
Through years of sustained presence and effort across the Persian Gulf's vast blue expanse, the Naval Force of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps, drawing on domestic capabilities and a spirit of jihad, has played a pivotal role in protecting the national interests of the Islamic Republic of Iran and securing the strategically vital Hormuz waterway, he noted.
This responsibility took on double importance during the Ramadan War and the Hormuz Battle, when IRGC forces defended the country’s territory and interests with vigilance and bravery against the aggression of the savage American-Zionist enemy, once again demonstrating that the security of this strategic expanse rests on the will and readiness of the defenders of Islamic Iran, he added.
Meanwhile, Deputy Army Commander Brigadier General Mohammad Hossein Dadras said the Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran have stood firm against the enemy with greater strength and resolve than ever before, and remain more prepared than at any other time.
Today we face an adversary that regards itself as the world’s sovereign and, in pursuit of its malevolent objectives, sacrifices innocent children to its demonic ideals, he stated.
The consequence of this satanic ideology is the slaughter of thousands of innocent children in Gaza, and the atrocity committed at the Minab school, he noted.
The enemy attacked Islamic Iran thinking it would reach its goals in less than a week, and it assassinated our dear Leader and the commanders of the armed forces, he stressed.
But the Iranian nation and the Armed Forces stood against the enemy more firmly and powerfully than in the past, and today they are more prepared than ever before, he reiterated.
