Speaking at an event commemorating the martyred women and children in Gaza, Amir Hossein Rahimi stated that legal proceedings have been initiated by the government and the judiciary to hold the perpetrators of the crimes accountable. He added that those responsible must be held accountable in domestic, foreign, and international judicial courts.
Rahimi noted that the attack on the Minab school and the Lamerd stadium, as well as the enemies’ crimes in Gaza which led to the martyrdom of numerous innocent women and children, are not conventional military operations or warfare, but constitute international crimes.
Referring to the US and Zionist regime’s aggression against Iran, the justicr minister said: The very act of aggression by the US and the Israeli regime against our beloved Iran is in itself an international war crime.
Even after committing aggression against Iran, under international rules, they had no right to target women and children or attack hospitals, he added. “Many of the agressions they committed, including the attacks on the Minab school and Lamerd stadium, constitute clear examples of war crimes.”
