The women’s kabaddi final took place on September 26, 2026, at Tokai Citizen Arena in Nagoya, where a close 37–34 contest ended with India taking the title and the Iranian team finishing as runner‑up.

The match opened evenly, with both sides trading points in the first minutes. India built a narrow lead before halftime, and although the Iranian side reduced the gap in the second half, the comeback fell short and the silver medal was secured.

The 20th Asian Games Aichi-Nagoya 2026 are taking place from 19 to 27 September across venues in Aichi Prefecture in central Japan.

Iran is participating in this edition with 305 athletes in 38 sports, and the country’s delegation is named Minab Angles, commemorating the schoolchildren who were martyred in a US missile attack on February 28, 2026.
