Araghchi wrote on X on Monday, “Important OIC Council of FMs in Iraq, 1st in 45 years.”
The foreign minister said he had met with some participants on the sidelines of the 52nd Session of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation in Baghdad.
“Met PM Zaidi, Iraqi, Egyptian and Turkish counterparts, new OIC SG & other dignitaries,” he noted.
“Under Iraq’s leadership and experienced SG, we expect active OIC role in addressing Islamic world’s challenges and resolving differences,” he added.
