The minister called for implementing previous agreements and making practical decisions to expand regional cooperation.

Referring to damage caused to Iran’s transport infrastructure by US and Israeli attacks, Sadegh stressed the need to protect civilian infrastructure, ensure corridor security and maintain transit flows.

She also emphasized facilitating truck movements, reducing customs barriers and expanding road and rail cooperation among ECO member states.

The minister described the Almaty–Tehran–Istanbul rail link as an opportunity to boost regional trade and called for removing obstacles to rail transport.
