In a post on X on Monday, Pezeshkian cited a verse from the great Iranian poet: “If for two days the turning sky does not accord with our desire, do not grieve — the times will not remain forever in one state.”
Pezeshkian wrote, Hafez is the embodiment of the Iranian human spirit and a narrator of hope in times of hardship, and his poems teach great lessons to humanity.
Hafez Shirazi, a great Iranian poet of the 8th century AH (14th century AD), was born and buried in the city of Shiraz, the capital of Fars province.
