NOURNEWS- Iran's Ambassador to Saudi Arabia Alireza Enayati, and Saudi Deputy Foreign Minister for Consular Affairs, Ali Al-Yousef, discussed issues of mutual interest.
Enayati met and held talks with Al-Yousef in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, on Monday.
During the meeting, the two sides exchanged views on the issues of establishing a consular committee, developing quadrilateral consular agreements, the status of prisoners, and facilitating visas.
In March 2023, Iran and Saudi Arabia issued a joint statement in China announcing that they would resume their diplomatic relations after seven years of tensions.
