NOURNEWS- Thailand's Former PM Transferred To Hospital After Returning From Exile
Thailand's polarizing former Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra was moved from prison to a hospital in the early hours of Wednesday, just hours after he returned from 15-year exile to begin an eight-year prison sentence.
According to the Corrections Department, Thaksin experienced high blood pressure, low oxygen levels, chest tightness, and sleeplessness.
His return coincides with his party securing a parliamentary vote for a new government.
