NOURNEWS - Admiral Shamkhani in a meeting with Iraqi Foreign Minister Fouad Hussein praised the action of Iraqi judiciary in issuing arrest warrants for Trump and Pompeo.
In this meeting, which was held this morning at the Secretariat of the Supreme National Security Council, Shamkhani, referring to the good relations between the two countries in various fields, stressed the need to accelerate the full implementation of joint agreements in various fields.
Referring to the entanglement of security, stability and tranquility in Iraq and Iran, the Secretary of our Supreme National Security Council said: "Increasing and consolidating the authority and sovereignty of the Iraqi government in establishing law and order is necessary to overcome political, economic and security problems in this country."
He pointed out that the main cause of instability and crisis in the region is the evil presence of foreign forces, especially American forces.
Shamkhani added: "Implementing the resolution of the Iraqi parliament as soon as possible for the withdrawal of foreign troops from Iraq is a good prelude to their withdrawal from the entire region."

Emphasizing the need to revive Iraq's political and historical position in the Islamic world and the Arab world, Shamkhani said: "The formation of this important event will be an opportunity for Baghdad to play an active role in resolving disputes and supporting lasting stability in the Arab and Islamic countries."
In this meeting, Iraqi Foreign Minister Fouad Hussein, referring to the privileged role of the Islamic Republic of Iran in maintaining stability and security in the region, clarified; Expanding cooperation in all fields, especially accelerating the implementation of joint economic projects with Iran's friendly and brotherly country, is one of the main priorities of Iraq's foreign policy.
He emphasized; The Iraqi people and government will never forget the vital support and rescue of the Iranian brothers in repelling the terrorist sedition of ISIL in Iraq.
