During a parliament session on Tuesday, Ghalibaf thanked the brave Iranian people, who took to the streets in Monday rallies in their millions and created a historic momentum since the victory of the Islamic Revolution.

According to the speaker, January 12 is the day when the Iranian people demonstrated their support for the Islamic Republic and terminated the intervention of foreign spy agencies in Iran’s internal affairs despite their fair criticism.

He further said that Iranian authorities are committed to addressing economic problems and livelihood requirements of the great nation; therefore, officials will use everything at their disposal to meet people’s demands.
