NOURNEWS – The fake regime of Israel, formed in 1948 as a result of an international plot headed by Britain; has turned into a “cancerous tumor” in West Asia to threaten security in the region.
The 74 years of history of Palestine following the establishment of the fake regime is marred with occupation and bloodshed, because the Zionists pursue their survival via killing Palestinians and Muslims.
The birth of the Zionist regime dates back to occupation of Palestine by Britain in World War I, when extremist Jews followed the idea of forming a Jewish country. One of the main attempts to create an independent Zionist regime happened in 1917, when Lord Rothschild prepared draft of a bill to United Kingdom's Foreign Secretary Arthur Balfour, which was turned into Balfour Declaration.
Palestinian people stood against the British occupation; however, incidents during World War II and massacre of Jewish people by the Nazi Germany was misused to pursue formation of a so-called Jewish state in Palestinian territories.
On May 14, 1948, British Mandate for Palestine came to an end and the Zionists instantly published Israeli Declaration of Independence in the same day, which is called Nakba Day by Palestinians.
Palestinian people started resistance and attempts to free their country from occupation, Arab states fought Israeli occupiers, and the conflict continues today.
Victory of the Islamic Revolution in Iran in 1979 revitalized resistance, because Iranians showed support for the Palestinian cause. Imam Khomeini announced on August 7, 1979 that the last Fridays of each years’ holy month of Ramadan is Quds Day to commemorate Palestinian resistance, urging Islamic world to stand against Israeli occupiers.
A look into Israeli regime's crimes shows that the Zionists have massacred Palestinian civilians in numerous occasions, usurped the oppressed nation’s lands, destroyed their homes. These crimes are being conducted in the framework of systematic violation of human rights.
The United States played key role in emboldening the Zionist regime, because Washington has shown all-out support for Israelis’ crimes and vetoed the UN resolutions against the regime.
