NOURNEWS - After eight years of invading Yemen, the Saudi coalition has come up with the idea of halting military operations against Yemen, claiming that the move is aimed at succeeding in consultations and creating a positive atmosphere for peace.
Riyadh has announced that military operations inside Yemen have been suspended in response to a request by the Secretary-General of the Persian Gulf Cooperation Council.
Saudi Arabia also says the decision is aimed at finding a comprehensive and lasting political solution to end the Yemeni crisis.
The Saudi-led Arab aggression coalition has also stated that it will suspend military operations from Wednesday morning this week, at the same time as the Riyadh summit, and will continue this process during the holy month of Ramadan.
The organizers of the Riyadh summit, which began on Wednesday and will last for seven days, claim that various Yemeni groups have attended the summit to end the Yemeni crisis and war.
However, the meeting was boycotted by Ansarullah, the main political and military current influencing developments in Yemen in protest of the venue.
In a situation where the GCC has not taken any action in support of the Yemeni people in the last eight years, and even the council's statements and decisions have been based on supporting Saudi Arabia in killing and destroying Yemen, the council suddenly changed its approach and held a meeting claiming efforts. The United Nations, as the Yemenis have repeatedly emphasized, has so far failed to be a good mediator in ending the war, and has actually played a role in Saudi Arabia under Western influence and Saudi pressure.
The failure of the United Nations to break the economic siege and the continued hunger of millions of Yemenis has been the most important example of the failure of this organization to play a constructive role in the Yemeni crisis.
The decision coincides with the recent Yemeni Ansarullah operation against Saudi Arabia's oil and economic facilities, which has significantly shifted the balance of power in favor of the Yemenis. The military is more the result of the political, economic and military bottlenecks imposed on the country and the stalemate against the will of the Yemeni people than the will of the country to end the eight years of devastating war against the oppressed people of Yemen.

Although in the current situation, the cessation of hostilities by Saudi Arabia is not a voluntary and peaceful action but an inevitable action, but the formation of this unintended situation can be used as an opportunity to end the crisis resulting from the wrong estimates of the rulers of Riyadh.
