NOURNEWS - Some Saudi media outlets have published untrue news claiming that Admiral Ali Shamkhani, Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council of Iran, is scheduled to travel to Baghdad to discuss with Iraqi groups how to resolve the presidential election crisis. The news, which is fundamentally false, was published with the aim of influencing the failed process of electing the President of Iraq by the Iraqi Parliament, which did not result in accordance to the abstraction of the members of the coordination framework. Iran has repeatedly stated that it has no involvement in the political process in Iraq and only supports the will of the Iraqi people in determining the political structures in this country.
