The reaction of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran to Grossi's claim

An informed official at the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran told Nournews: "The memory card claimed by the Director-General of the IAEA was destroyed in the sabotage operation, and incidentally, the Agency has to answer why it does not use its capacity to prevent such sabotage operations, of which the origin is also known."

NOURNEWS - At a news conference on Friday evening, Rafael Grossi, director general of the IAEA, told reporters that after the sabotage at the Karaj nuclear facility, the images of one of the installed CCTV cameras had disappeared.

He added: "Iran removed all four cameras from the installations and showed them to the IAEA, but the camera that was destroyed did not have a memory card that holds the images."

Grossi added: "The International Atomic Energy Agency and Western countries have asked Iran to explain this, but so far the Iranian government has not given an explanation."

An informed official at the Atomic Energy Organization told Nournews: "The memory card claimed by the Director-General of the IAEA was destroyed in the sabotage operation, and incidentally, the Agency has to answer why it does not use its capacity to prevent such sabotage operations, of which the origin is also known."

The official added: "The International Atomic Energy Agency, in addition to its supervisory duties, also has protective responsibilities for the members of the IAEA, and in this regard, it should be held accountable for not preventing the threat to Iran's nuclear sites and not taking effective action in this regard."
