The prospect of nuclear negotiations

If the process of six rounds of negotiations was held and the results were considered favorable by Iran, of course, given the country's emphasis on the rapid lifting of all sanctions, the agreements reached should become a document to break the current stalemate.

NOURNEWS - The issue of nuclear talks between Iran and the West, which has been pursued in six rounds since the beginning of this year, has become the main issue between Iran and the West, especially the United States, these days after the suspension.
Nuclear talks in Vienna stalled at Station Six as Western media tried to blame Iran for the halt; The main culprit of this halt was the non-acceptance of the European and American troika in fulfilling their obligations.
Currently, the main question in domestic public opinion and Western political and media circles is the approach of the new Iranian government in the negotiations and the strategy of the Islamic Republic to break the deadlock.
As can be seen from the explicit statement of the Supreme Leader of the Revolution in explaining the results of the six rounds of negotiations held in the previous government, the continuation of the negotiations based on the previous model will not be considered for many reasons.
In this regard, Kazem Gharibabadi, a member of the Iranian negotiating team, also described Washington's role in the failure of the Vienna talks in an interview with the Khamenei.ir news site on August 7, listing seven violations of the US agreement.
These seven actions include the following:
1. They tied the whole understanding to the acceptance of the forthcoming talks on regional issues, which is completely irrelevant and harmful to the subject of the negotiations. The lifting of some sanctions, as well as the removal of the name of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps from the list of terrorist groups, were made directly conditional on the acceptance of this clause.
2. They refused to repeal the executive order on the arms embargo, which is in clear contradiction with JCPOA and UN Security Council Resolution 2231, and in some ways contradicts the US claim of a return to JCPOA commitments.
3. They refused to lift sanctions on more than 500 individuals and entities - which were sanctioned by the Trump administration on non-nuclear grounds - and to repeal the Caatsa Sanctions Act, while all of Trump's actions, including the use of non-nuclear excuses, were aimed at completely destroying the nuclear deal. On the other hand, it shows the serious determination of the new US administration to use the cards created in the previous administration, as well as to pursue a policy of maximum pressure against Iran.
4. Refusing to provide assurances that the same behavior of the previous government would not be repeated in response to the nuclear deal; They were even reluctant to consider a reasonable period of time for companies entering into trade and economic work with Iran to complete their work without worrying about US extraterritorial sanctions in the event of any problems with a possible understanding.
5. They refused to discuss the damage done to Iran as a result of the unilateral and illegal withdrawal from the nuclear agreement.
6. They raised exaggerations about the activities and commitments of Iran's nuclear program, which are even beyond the text of JCPOA. Of course, they were all rejected by Iran, but this shows their sabotage and their stubborn spirit. In this case, the Western sides had a similar position.
7. On Verification Although in the initial JCPOA model, Iran first fulfilled its nuclear commitments for several months, which was also verified by the IAEA, and then the other parties fulfilled their sanctions-lifting commitments, but in the new series of talks, the Americans are present. They failed to accept the important fact that all the existing problems are due to their hostile and destructive behavior, and that they must first fulfill all their obligations, and only after verification in a reasonable time, Iran will fulfill its obligations. The American model for fulfilling its principled and truthful commitments in two days is merely a ceremonial model devoid of practical utility.
In addition to Iran's serious considerations and non-acceptance of the six rounds of negotiations conducted so far, according to the approach announced by the President and the emphasis on pursuing diplomatic methods to resolve Iran's foreign policy issues naturally, Iran's main option in pursuing the case at the heart of the new government is the return to negotiations with a new order.
Naturally, if the previous path and its results were considered favorable by Iran, of course, given Iran's emphasis on the rapid lifting of all sanctions, the agreements reached should become a document to get out of the current impasse.
The failure to achieve the framework agreed upon by the parties to revive JCPOA is a clear indication of Iran's dissatisfaction with the process of the previous six rounds of negotiations and the need for a general review and setting a new agenda for the resumption of negotiations.
For Iran, the implementation of the framework mentioned in the law adopted by the parliament entitled "Strategic action to lift sanctions and protect the interests of the Iranian people" will be the main component in determining the new agenda of the negotiations.
To any extent; Although the change of governments has limited effects on how to pursue and implement the foreign policy goals of the Islamic Republic of Iran, but given the determination of the country's foreign policy strategies by the Supreme National Security Council as a governing body, the issue of pursuing a nuclear case and determining strategies The new talks in Vienna will be pursued within the framework of the definite policies announced by Iran and under the supervision of this institution.
