NOURNEWS - The Saudi and French foreign ministers held talks at a meeting in Paris last Wednesday evening.
Saudi media reported that Faisal bin Farhan met with Jean-Yves Le Drian to discuss strengthening bilateral relations, regional and international developments, ways to deal with the coronavirus, encouraging investors to participate in joint economic initiatives between the two countries, as well as technology exchange.
The news received by "Nournews", however, suggests that Bin Farhan's main goal of traveling to France and meeting with Le Drian were specifically the two issues of "Iran nuclear negotiations and the P4+1 in Vienna" and "political developments in Lebanon."
According to the news, the Saudi foreign minister, while his country has recently denounced the stylized relations with Iran, has urged the French foreign minister to put two issues of regional influence and Iranian drone and missile advances on the agenda of European delegations in the negotiation process while intensifying pressure on Iran during the Vienna talks.
Bin Farhan has also urged his French counterpart to closely monitor the process of forming a government by Najib Mikati, despite the failure of the joint Western, Saudi, Zionist scenario regarding the formation of a government in Lebanon, and to support the Al Saud menus by pressuring Mikati to support the Al Saud menus in the process, despite Saad Hariri's withdrawal from the path.
At the meeting, the French Foreign Minister supported the continuation of the Saudi aggression and brutal attacks on the Yemeni people.
