NOURNEWS - The Israeli Prime Minister, who was scheduled to visit the United Arab Emirates on Thursday, did not make the trip.
The reason for the cancellation of the trip was the differences between Tel Aviv and Jordan Hashemi, who had established relations with the regime 27 years ago, a situation that shows the failure of the Arabs to achieve their goals through compromise with Zionists.
After the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain signed the" Abraham Accord" with Israel in September 2020, mediated by Donald Trump, and revealed diplomatic relations with the regime, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu intends to deepen these relations. In this regard he was scheduled to travel to Abu Dhabi on Thursday, March 11, to meet with officials.
Some Zionist media outlets had even speculated that Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman of Saudi Arabia would meet with Netanyahu in Abu Dhabi during the visit, but Tel Aviv officials abruptly announced that the trip had been canceled.
In addition to the importance of this trip to legitimize the occupying regime of Quds, Netanyahu planned to travel to the UAE with the aim of increasing his chances in the early elections (March 23), which will be held in less than two weeks.
The visit to the UAE, which has been delayed several times due to COVID19 restrictions, may have helped the Israeli prime minister to divert public attention from his corruption case and anger over the economic consequences of the Corona crisis.
Zionist radio first stated that the reason for the cancellation of Benjamin Netanyahu's visit to the UAE was because his wife was not well. But hours later, news sources revealed the main reason for the cancellation of the trip. Reuters called the cancellation of the trip as Jordan's opposition to Netanyahu's plane crossing its airspace, and Netanyahu's office confirmed this in a statement finally.
"Organizing Netanyahu's visit to the UAE, from the beginning to the end," Barak Ravid, a reporter for the Hebrew-language Walla News, quoted a senior Israeli cabinet official as saying on his Twitter account that he had canceled Netanyahu's visit that in the end was a failure. The entire responsibility lies with Mossad chief Yossi Cohen because of his poor coordination with the Jordanians. "This trip was wrongly planned from the beginning and was canceled by mistake."
Jordanian Crown Prince Hussein bin Abdullah recently planned to travel to occupied lands to visit the Al-Aqsa Mosque, but this has not been done so far with the sabotage and obstruction of the Zionists, and it has been stated as the reason for the escalation of disputes between Amman and Tel Aviv.
The prevention of the Crown Prince of Jordan's pilgrimage to Al-Aqsa Mosque is despite the fact that the Zionist regime has recognized the role of the Hashemi family of Jordan as the custodian of Al-Aqsa Mosque during the 1994 agreement that led to the recognition of this regime by Amman.
Jordanian officials believe that the Israeli regime's restrictions are unacceptable to Muslims. From Jordan's point of view, this regime has no right to rule over Al-Aqsa Mosque, and the organized visits of religious Jews to the site of this mosque have long been a source of annoyance to Muslims.
The former ambassador of the Zionist regime in Jordan believes that the differences that have arisen indicate the deterioration of relations in recent years. "The lack of trust between the two sides has been highlighted by the Zionist regime's plans last year to annex parts of the occupied West Bank to Israel," he said.
Although Tel Aviv has suspended the annexation plan as part of its agreement to establish good relations with the UAE, Jordanians have now realized how detrimental to their trust in international agreements with an aggressor regime is to their advantage.
This can be very useful for conservative Arab leaders and helping them reconsider their policies on Palestine. Jordan's experience of compromising with the Zionists many years ago in 1994, but now does not have even the slightest advantages of that agreement, sends a special message to Abu Dhabi and other conservative Arab states that if not properly understood, the future of these regimes creates more ambiguities.
Netanyahu's failure to visit Abu Dhabi reflects Jordan's serious concerns about Tel Aviv's policies after 27 years of compromise with the regime. This event, in addition to being disappointing for the adventurous Prime Minister of the Zionist regime and his election goals, may provide an opportunity for countries such as the UAE to refrain from going astray.
