NOURNEWS - Iran said it had sent a red notice request to Interpol for four perpetrators of the assassination of the martyred scientist Mohsen Fakhrizadeh.
Information received by NOURNEWS indicates that details and information about sabotage agents at the Natanz nuclear site have also been sent to Interpol and requested a red notice.
The events that our country has asked Interpol to issue a red notice in pursuit of the factors involved in it are among the issues that are specifically related to the issue of international peace and security, especially the issue of global cooperation in the field of monitoring nuclear activities.
Given the central role of the International Atomic Energy Agency in monitoring nuclear activities and guiding global cooperation in the peaceful use of nuclear energy, events such as the sabotage of intelligence services in the IAEA member states and the assassination of scientists in these countries by the Islamic Republic of Iran Examples of it cannot and should not be outside the scope of sensitivities of this international institution.
The agency has always insisted on the necessity of Iran's cooperation under the JCPOA and other agency regulations, and even when the agency's opinion on these relations is not provided for technical reasons or legal protections, it immediately proceeds to space up with media controversies and issuing statements, and even like its latest move against Iran, it pressures the Governing Council to issue a resolution.
The Islamic Republic of Iran, despite accepting the highest number of inspections in the history of the agency's activities from its facilities as well as the highest level of voluntary trans-safeguard and trans-compliance cooperation with this institution, has never enjoyed the legal rights arising from the implementation of these obligations and cooperation with the agency, and has always witnessed stone-throwing and restrictions to achieve its legal rights.
On the other hand, in addition to the blatant violation of Iran's legal rights, the country's enemies have stepped up the agency's strict restrictions on nuclear activities and have tried to stop the development of Iran's peaceful nuclear activities by assassinating scientists and sabotaging nuclear facilities (such as Stuxnet and the recent Natanz case).
The important question that the IAEA needs to answer regarding its relations with Iran is why has it so far failed or refused to use its most obvious legal, professional and moral duties to maintain the confidentiality of Iran's nuclear information or to use its influence to prevent destructive actions and punish its perpetrators?
It is very clear that the cooperation between Iran and the agency brings mutual rights to both sides, which must be addressed and taken in the direction of its realization. Iran, as mentioned above, has always fulfilled its obligations at the highest possible level and has shown its goodwill.
The agency should also do its best to condemn the assassination of Iran's nuclear scientists and to strictly fulfill its obligations to maintain the confidentiality of Iran's nuclear intelligence, regarding the arrest of the assassination agents of the martyr Fakhrizadeh and sabotaging at the Natanz facility, whose names and addresses have been announced to Interpol.
In addition to the agency, the member states of this international body also have a direct responsibility in this regard, because in the event of silence, such acts (terror and sabotage) can become common practices and can also be taken into account.
The formation of such conditions will practically question the core philosophy of establishing an agency that monitors the nuclear activities of countries and cares for the effects of atomic pollution abuses.
The lack of global attention and sensitivity to this important issue and the impact on the nuclear facilities of countries can put a worrying trend in the face of global peace, security.
