NOURNEWS - The Secretariat of the Supreme National Security Council issued a statement explaining the marginalization that has taken place in recent days over the passage of the "Strategic Action to Lift Sanctions and Protect the Rights of the Iranian People."
A part of this statement reads: About two months ago, the general plan of the parliament, which had been completed, was presented to the Supreme National Security Council by the esteemed speaker of the parliament, and the council welcomed the essence of the issue and presented and summarized some aspects of it. The conclusion of the Supreme Council on this plan was approved and after some steps, it was announced as the approval of the council. In the resolution of the council, the parliament was asked to interact and agree with the secretariat of the Supreme National Security Council and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in reviewing and finalizing the plan.
In the framework of the implementation of the resolution of the Supreme Council, the representatives of the esteemed Speaker of the Parliament and the National Security Commission of the Legislative Body had consultations and referrals to the Secretariat in several stages, which received the Secretariat's considerations and in most cases, considered them. There were some natural and conventional concerns about this plan for the secretariat, which were resolved by following up with the relevant authorities. All the various stages of drafting the plan until its final approval have been done according to the normal and legal procedures and regulations of the parliament and the secretariat has not interfered in it.
The esteemed parliament is not required to obtain the consent of the secretariat and other bodies, except what is recommended within the framework of the constitution and the holy sharia, and is supervised by the esteemed Guardian Council. The expert opinion of the Secretariat on the steps of formation, completion and approval of the law "Strategic action to lift sanctions and protect the rights of the people" is that the law does not pose a particular issue to the detriment of national interests and, conversely, what is contrary to national interests and concerned. Yes, these are the controversies that undermine the dignity and status of the country's legal institutions and damage national unity and cohesion.
The statements and behaviors that we have witnessed in recent days have sacrificed national interests and interests of group and factional interests, and while they have no benefit for the country, they convey the wrong message and address to the enemies. Recourse to the supreme values of the system and the revolution, especially the subject of the martyrdom of the revolutionary scientist and martyr "Mohsen Fakhrizadeh" and its use in political and factional debates, especially by those who are expected in the current situation to devote all their efforts to consolidating unity and National cohesion and organizing the situation in the country, and be careful in preparing a decisive response to the enemy, raises big questions and cannot be justified in any way.
The Secretariat of the Supreme National Security Council, aware of the approach of some parties who seek to spread and perpetuate the controversy and damage the role, position and performance of the Secretariat, does not intend to respond to them, but strongly believes and strongly advises all parties on the need Ending fruitless disputes, we warn that we will not allow the interests of the country to become the basis of politicians.
