NOURNEWS - Spokesman for the Supreme National Security Council of Iran, Keyvan Khosravi, commented on inaccurate news that some media circulated, regarding the decisions reached by the Council and the decisions issued by its Secretariat, explaining: Any decision the Council reaches and any judgment issued by its Secretariat will be announced by spokesperson exclusively, and every comment or statement made in this regard is unreliable and has no value.
Khosravi described the decisions of the Supreme Council for National Security and those of the Secretariat as confidential information, and said: It is not permissible to announce the decisions of the Supreme Council and the decisions of its secretariat outside the aforementioned framework.
Regarding to coordination between the Iran's parliament and Secretariat of Supreme National Security Council to prepare a "strategic action to lift the sanctions" plan, Khosravi explained: The Islamic Consultative Council (Parliament) prepared the aforementioned plan, and the Secretariat of Supreme National Security Council informed the parliament of its observations in this regard.
In conclusion, Khosravi explained: The final plan approved by the parliament today was based on the current procedures in the country's Legislative Council after the consensus of the esteemed members of the parliament.
