Four consecutive failures of the Saudi regime in recent weeks

These failures indicate at least two issues; First, given the high probability of Trump's defeat, America's European allies are cleverly changing their policies toward the infamous Arab rulers in West Asia in order to pay less for their human rights abuses, and second, Saudi efforts to reproduce a self-righteous figures have completely failed in the international arena.

NOURNEWS -  In recent weeks, the Saudi regime has faced a series of challenges and international failures, despite high costs, extensive publicity and extensive consultations.

These failures are mainly due to Al-Saud's anti-human rights behavior on various issues, and shows that the regime's human rights record is so bleak that, despite many efforts, it has not been able to escape it.

The four obvious failures of the Saudi regime during this period can be summarized as follows:

1- "Failure in the UN Human Rights Council": This failure took place despite many bribes, consultations and threats from the representatives of the Saudi regime that Saudi Arabia failed to win one of the 15 seats in the 16 official candidates for the council. With 90 votes (less than two-thirds of the votes) out of a total of 193 members of the General Assembly, he was named the only candidate who lost the election.

The Saudi regime, which sought to remove itself from the annual list of child abusers (child-killing regimes) by attending the council, had threatened to donate tens of millions of dollars to the General Assembly if it was not elected. Will cut off the United Nations.

2. "Failure in the World Trade Organization": The Saudi regime, which in the second round of consultations (from September 24 to October 8) competed for the presence of its representative in the organization with 4 countries Nigeria, Kenya, South Korea and Italy, finally succeeded in reaching The next step failed, with former South Korean Minister of Commerce Yu Ming Hee and former Nigerian Minister of Finance and Foreign Affairs Akonjo Iwila stealing the ball from the Saudi envoy.

The defeat came as Mohammed al-Twaijri, an adviser to the Royal Court and former Saudi economy minister, began consultations as the regime's representative with about 100 countries (including small African countries) in early July, but not only failed. No votes were cast, and in a rare case, 19 movements opposed the signing of a self-proclaimed statement.

3. "Anti-Saudi resolution of the European Parliament": The European Parliament on 17 October this year, by issuing a resolution on the situation of Ethiopian immigrants in Saudi prisons, in one of the clauses called on EU officials to reduce the level of EU representation in the G20 In Riyadh, prevent the legitimacy of human rights violations in this country.

This resolution is in line with previous EU resolutions on the Saudi regime, including; "The regime's relations with the European Union and its role in West Asia and North Africa", "Raef Badawi's case on February 12, 2015", "Ali Mohammed al-Nimr's case on October 8, 2015", "The situation of women's rights defenders in Saudi Arabia in May 2018" "The assassination of Jamal Khashgeji on October 25, 2018" and "The humanitarian situation in Yemen on February 25, 2016, November 4, 2017 and October 4, 2018" were issued.

The resolution addresses the need for international observers to monitor detainees, reform immigration and labor policies, and unfairly prosecute migrants, and calls on the Council of Europe to adopt a mechanism for EU human rights sanctions that are relevant to the EU's strategic interests and goals. And ensure that the Union's targeted sanctions are immediately applied to those responsible for Khashgeji's assassination.

Following the resolution, 65 members of the European Parliament signed a letter to their leaders urging them not to attend the G20 summit.

4- "British Parliament examines the situation of Saudi detainees": Recently, a British parliamentary delegation consisting of three members of parliament and a group of international lawyers to investigate the situation of prisoners in the Saudi regime announced that the investigation into the fate of former Crown Prince Mohammed Benayev and Has put "Ahmad bin Abdul Aziz" on his agenda.

These are the people whom "Muhammad ibn al-Salman" has been detained for months on charges of acting against the Saudi court in order to pave the way for his own kingdom, so the inclusion of the likes of these foreign groups in such matters thwarts bin al-Salman's efforts to clear himself of internal suffocation. .

The series of events in recent weeks shows at least two issues; First, given the high probability of Trump's defeat, America's European allies are cleverly changing their policies toward the infamous Arab rulers in West Asia in order to pay less for their human rights abuses, and second, Saudi efforts to reproduce them. Self-righteous figures have completely failed in the international arena.

In this regard, considering that it is necessary that; Contrary to the perception of Al-Saud and his Hebrew-American supporters, human rights violations by the Saudi regime, such as crimes in Yemen, a completely undemocratic political structure, widespread imprisonment of human rights activists, kidnapping or killing of Muslim dissidents such as Khashgeji, and support for takfiri-terrorist groups. It is shameful that in the absence of pressure from Trump, few countries are willing to deal with this regime.
