NOURNEWS - International Group: Two members of the Iraqi parliament have announced the possibility of postponing the country's early elections, which are scheduled to take place in June (June-July) next year.
Mahmoud al-Zajrawi, a representative of the Sairoon coalition in the Iraqi parliament, announcedo that an agreement has been reached between a number of Iraqi political currents to postpone early parliamentary elections to the end of next year in order to regulate their situation.
Al-Zajrawi, without specifically naming these political currents, said: "These currents are now trying to prevent the completion of the new election law and the amendment of the federal court law; especially since a delay in completing these laws means a delay in holding early elections
