NOURNEWS - Amir Sartip Hatami, Minister of Defense and Armed Forces Support, attended today's (Tuesday) closed-door session of the Islamic Consultative Assembly.
In this regard, Abolfazl Abu Torabi, the representative of the people of Najafabad in the Islamic Consultative Assembly, referring to today's closed session of the Assembly, said: "In today's meeting, Amir Sartip Hatami, Minister of Defense and Armed Forces Support, presented a report on the country's defense capability in the areas of missiles, production of vessels and aerospace, etc. to the representatives."
He added: "The Defense Minister stated that with the efforts made during the last 40 years, we have reached the point where more than 70% of aircraft and helicopter parts are produced in the country."
The representative of the people of Najafabad in the Islamic Consultative Assembly stated: "Amir Hatami said that although we are not one of the countries producing and producing aircraft and helicopters, we have been able to localize parts manufacturing in these areas and we are one of the few countries that have achieved this capability."
Abu Torabi pointed out: "The Minister of Defense added that this success is in the production and manufacture of aircraft parts and helicopters in the country, while we enjoy the diversity of helicopters and aircraft in the country."
In the end, he expressed: "The Minister of Defense also stated that in the field of aerospace, our progress is up-to-date today and we have achieved a lot of success in this field."
