NOURNEWS/NORTH CAROLINA - One must know it’s for the cleansing of a rotten, vicious “empire” of debt and militarism and all its corruption and maybe, in a country that is supposed to be a “democracy”, the eventual election of real people who really represent the People, not zombies and grifters, to public office.
The sheer weight of massive demonstrations, whatever the violence meted out to protesters, can ultimately shatter the status quo and allow some fresh air in to the long dying republic. Yes, martyrs can and do exist in the U.S., too. Martyrs as common, average people who have just had enough and still cling to their ideals and have not lost all hope for change. Trump has for years now seized on the MAGA mantra, the Make America Great Again one, which is a joke because he is doing the opposite. Greatness lies not in power and the military, but in humility of governance.
This, now, may be the one and last chance the U.S. and We the People have to honestly do MAGA, because no one else, and especially not the Trump gangsters and much of the current government, will, as they edge the country ever closer to a full-blown, authoritarian police state just as repressive and suffocating as its Middle East ally, “Israel”. Such is the thinking of many Americans now if they are thinking at all. And, unfortunately, the Trump Administration and most of the U.S. Congress continues to ramp up ever more support for the Zionists.
Many people around the world and in Iran must wonder what “Antifa” is? It is not an organization at all, but simply anyone who rejects Fascism, as the acronym says – “anti-Fascist”. And the Trump Administration, falsely claiming it is a real organization, have just designated it a “terrorist” group just as it, and countries like Israel, designate any people in opposition. Antifa-ists are simply individuals who defend and support the right of oppressed and marginalized individuals to protest and engage in civil disobedience in the pursuit of real democracy and justice, and violence is not encouraged but it is not going to be condemned if that’s how some people feel they have to express their outrage. But in fact many of the looters amid the protests may even be paid plants by the government used to justify the street violence and repression against honest protesters by the military and the police. Who, for example, has unloaded neat piles of new bricks on street corners in major American cities as temptations to protesters to pick them up and smash windows and cars? Not the protesters it seems, but some other nefarious agents.
Trump, in any case, has, by some accounts, pushed himself into a morass and proved himself inept at endorsing policies to address the three major crises confronting the country: the economic Depression, the Covid 19 pandemic and finally the murder of George Floyd, the hapless Black man whose life was snuffed out by a Minneapolis policeman with a sordid record of brutality that had never previously been sanctioned or punished. Trump has even been railing at the governors of several states for allegedly being too lenient on protesters in their domains. Even to the point where one widely recognized media and geopolitical analyst, Laith Marouf, a Canadian citizen who for now also maintains an abode with his family in Lebanon, too, has suggested that if the downward spiral in the U.S. continues, there could be a civil war and ultimately some states could angle to leave the union! Marouf has also suggested that Hassan Nasrullah could be correct suggesting that the Zionists might pack up their bags and leave Palestine sooner than anyone could easily expect.
To most, such ideas seem like a radical stretch of pure fantasy, but who could have predicted that the murder of George Floyd in a country where Blacks are often set upon by militarized police would set off worldwide demonstrations? Is the Floyd murder the proverbial grain of sand that starts an avalanche of serious change? Many can only hope. Stay tuned. The Empire may be imploding slowly.
