On the other hand, Jordan stipulated that the Saudis have financial support for the active Islamic populations in occupied Jerusalem and the Al-Aqsa Mosque, and to exert political pressure to expel the active Turkish populations in the city under Palestinian cover.
The newspaper quoted a high-ranking Arab diplomat as saying that if the Jordanians allowed the Turks to work freely in the Al-Aqsa Mosque, they would be listed in documents for a few years as special owners in the management of the holy sites. According to the diplomat, Jordan needs Saudi money and influence to confront Erdogan, and this is in the interests of Israel and the United States, as the two sides are working to secure Saudi support for Trump and Netanyahu's plan and the annexation operation of the West Bank, especially with Saudi Arabia's position, it will gain the approval of the UAE and Bahrain.
The source pointed out: "It is too early to say whether this step has been taken. The aim is to register the names of the Saudi representatives only as observers and in a non-binding manner so that the exclusive position of Jordan in this holy place is not harmed."
