NOURNEWS- The Central Command of the US Army in Africa on Tuesdayclaimed that the Russian military has sent several warplanes to Libya.
U.S. Terrorist Army Command in Africa said in a statement that Russia intends to deploy fighter jets in Libya to support private military contractor groups operating in the country and assisting the so-called Libyan National Army.
According to the Information Center Website, Russian fighters are likely to provide close air support and offensive cover to the Wagner Private Contracting Group in a battle with the National Accord government. The fighters jets took off from an air base in Russia, changed color to camouflage after being transferred to Syria, and then transferred to Libya.
General Stephen Townsend, commander of US forces in Africa, claims: "Russia is clearly trying to weigh the scales in Libya ... They are expanding their military base in Africa by supporting mercenary groups like Wagner."
