The ships Petunia and Clavel continue their course to Venezuela and are expected to arrive in the country soon.
The cargoes were loaded in the port of Shahid Raja'i in April and flown to Venezuela via the Suez Canal, the Strait of Gibraltar and the Atlantic Ocean, according to vessel-tracking data.
The entry of Iranian oil tankers into Venezuelan coastal waters and escorted by the Venezuelan ships has been widely reported in the world media due to US threats over the past ten days and the attempt to prevent this action, some media outlets, such as Al-Rai Al-Youm, have described it as "Iran rubbed America's nose."
