Dr. Rezaei in response to a reporter's question about his experience in the struggle against the Pahlavi regime and working in the Mansourun group until the command of the Revolutionary Guards at the age of 27, inform the audience: "Our great nation has gone through a long struggle with colonialism." None of the other nations has struggled so long, and at long last we are victorious. Therefore, the victory of the Islamic Revolution in 1979 is a part of the history of our revolutionary Struggles.
"We fought with Tsarist Russia and Britain. With the nationalization of the oil industry, we began a great struggle. The Americans came on the scene again. On 15th of Khordad we continued the struggle until 22nd of Bahman, 1979. At the age of seventeen, I joined the fight and formed the Mansourun group with my high school friends in 1972 and started fighting the Shah's regime. Those experiences on victory of the revolution were very important to me. There we learned how to fight. We gained political insight and learned how to organize and form combat groups. We were imprisoned and endured a lot of torture. We learned about intelligence and security. Those moments were very important to me, so when the revolution peaked in 1978 and the Imam entered the scene, we entered the struggle with a good experience and organization, we had the organization of Mansourun group seven provinces and seventeen cities. Our organization was quite good. We had suffered one or two blows in Yazd, Dezful and Isfahan, but we were able to maintain our organization. Our basic struggle began in 1978 and 1979 alongside the Imam, and we won the revolution.
Dr. Rezaei pointed out to his experiences from the events after the victory of the Islamic Revolution and said: "I immediately used those experiences for the victory of the Revolution, both in creating the Iranian intelligence organization and in forming the Revolutionary Guards."
Al-Ahd: You have been working as the Commander-in-Chief of the Revolutionary Guards for 16 years and under it you have formed and led the Quds Force. What does Palestine mean for Major General Mohsen Rezaei?
The commander of the Revolutionary Guards during the time of the Holy Defense said: "One of our main slogans in the hundred years of struggle against tyranny has been the slogan of the liberation of Palestine and the fight against Zionism." While we had not yet achieved a complete victory against the Shah's regime, we saw the Palestinian struggle as part of our own revolution and made no distinction. We did not say that there was an Iranian revolution in Iran and an Arab struggle in Palestine. We considered the struggle against Israel and the struggle against the Shah as one, and we both evaluate these struggles in the sense of the Islamic Revolution. A common and united revolution.
"We believe that the Palestinian movement, the resistance in Palestine, the confrontation between the Palestinian people and Israel, is the front line of a civilized struggle." World history shows that we have had crusades for more than two hundred years, with extremist Christians coming from all over Europe, from Italy to France, and fighting Muslims in the same region of Shamat and Palestine. Hundreds of miles away, they came and fought with us. After a period of tranquillity, the Europeans raised the issue of Israel. They sent the Zionists to Palestine and started a civil war with us. "On the other hand, we are witnessing the battle of two objectives in Palestine." Islamic beliefs with the imperialist and colonial beliefs of the West who want to rule the Islamic world and do not want to accept that Islam is established, and we saw the clash of two powers. The emerging power of Islam with the power of Europe and America. From here, things get trickier, and this is where the true power lies. Westerners have come sooner to stop this emerging power. Therefore, Palestine is both our line of struggle and civilization and our ideological line. In Palestine, the war is a battle for the authority of Islam with infidelity. This is a very important issue, and we will never separate Palestine from ourselves in the history of our struggle and life, and we will see it as our main line of struggle.
Al-ahd: What is your message for the Palestinian Mujahideen? For the resistance forces that are currently fighting in Palestine.
Dr. Rezaei: "Our suggestion to the Palestinian fighters is that the Palestinian movement must become international." In the past, the resistance used the feelings and emotions of the people of the world in favor of Palestine until Israel took action. The people of Europe, United States and the Islamic countries were protesting, but that is no longer enough.The Palestinian Movement and the Palestinian Revolutionary Forces must form an international anti-Israel movement, and all Muslims around the world can be members of this movement. Israel has the backing of Zionism, which has networks around the world.
"Fighting against the Zionist regime only in the occupied territories is not enough." We must pursue an international anti-Zionist democratic movement. It is necessary for the Palestinians themselves to take the lead in carrying out the flagship of this new movement. In Europe, in the United States, in Africa, there are many supporters for Palestine. There are many who believe that Israel must disappear. Many believe in a democratic election in those lands so that the people can write their own constitution with their own votes. Many believe that the displaced should return to their homeland and participate in the elections and have the right to vote. If these millions of Palestinians who are outside their homeland return and free democratic elections take place, things will be different. Inside the land of Palestine, the defensive aspects must be strengthened day by day. Palestinian fighters must innovate and have technologies to neutralize radar systems and fire their missiles more accurately.
Al-Ahd: What were the views of the founder of the Islamic Republic on the issue of the occupation of Lebanon by the Zionists?
Secretary of the Expediency Discernment Council: "At the time when the occupying Israeli regime attacked Lebanon, Imam Khomeini ordered us to rush to the aid of Lebanon, however try to be supportive and educational." Participate in the military to a limited extent until the Lebanese people themselves, the Syrian people, and the people of the region establish a real front, and the same advice led us to at least bring our forces into Lebanon and Syria. We started supporting people to stand on their own two feet. We should not conduct military campaigns like other countries. Empower and organize the people so that the Lebanese people, with our support, can stop Israel.
"The Imam believed that Lebanon could stand up to Israel." And he informed us to give Lebanon this ability. Imam told us to go and teach and transfer our experiences to them. build a hospital, try to shape the Lebanese youth by transferring experiences with their own hands to a national army, and form a resistance movement. The same recommendation led us to send less troops to Lebanon. At first we thought we would send five or six divisions, but then Imam Khomeini gave us this advice. We went to pursue defense empowerment in Lebanon.
It was the Lebanese resistance that launched the Islamic Awakening, and some have tried to take this historiography from the Lebanese people by creating suspicious movements such as ISIS or similar groups.
Al-Ahd: We are On the 20th anniversary of the withdrawal of Israeli forces from southern Lebanon. What is your message to the Lebanese authorities and people on this anniversary?
Revolutionary Guards General Dr. Mohsen Rezaei: "We do not intend to assign a task to anyone." My brotherly message to the dear and loyal people of Lebanon is that the Lebanese people should not miss this historic start. Many are looking for the Lebanese people to put aside their role as imams. It was the resistance that created Hamas. It was the resistance that gave new life to Palestine. It was the Lebanese resistance that launched the Islamic Awakening, and some have tried to take this historic creation from the Lebanese people by creating suspicious movements such as ISIS or similar groups. Praise be to God, they have failed and their conspiracy has failed miserably. Other groups with a history of re-emerging from the Islamic Awakening were unable to do so due to deviations.

Al-Ahd: Your Excellency, how do you assess the progress of the Islamic Resistance?
Secretary of the Expediency Discernment Council: "The resistance has developed very well. Resistance from a guerrilla group became a revolutionary force. Relying on the will of the nations is the greatest achievement of the people of Iran and Lebanon. Even we in Iraq and Syria, for this reason, proposed the formation of a popular mobilization to complete security and defense in the countries."
"Hezbollah in Lebanon has reached a high level of capability and nowadays in the Arab world, Hezbollah is one of the centers for transferring revolutionary experiences. In this day and age, the Lebanese revolutionary experience is useful for many of the resistance in the countries that are occupied, or confronting the invading armies, or fighting terrorists such as ISIS. Lebanon's Hezbollah experiences in Syria have been very effective. There was a very good cooperation in the formation of the Patriotic Army (Jaish al-Watani) and the Revolutionary Army and our dear brothers in the Syrian Army.
During the command of Qassem Soleimani, the resistance took on an international ground. Therefore, his name, his flag and his thoughts will always be on the resistance front and will always shine.
Al-Ahd: General Qasem Soleimani's role as a strong liaison between the Iran and the resistance groups played a role. Does his martyrdom create a vacuum in this connection?
Dr. Rezaei: The IRGC's Quds Force was formed after the holy defense. At the beginning, I appointed my dear brother General Vahidi as the commander of the Quds Force of the IRGC, and after a few years, my dear brother Qassem Soleimani became the commander of the Quds Force, and now General Qaani is the commander of the Quds Force. This commanding sequence shows the consistency of this huge and powerful group, but we must admit that General Qassem Soleimani created a great change on the resistance front. That is to say, his thought, his belief, his school, created a great change in the resistance front from Palestine to Syria and Iraq and Afghanistan, Yemen and all Islamic lands and he had internationalized the Islamic resistance. In other words, the resistance, which was mainly in Lebanon and Afghanistan, under the command of Qassem Soleimani, took over the resistance of an international ground. Therefore, his name, his flag and his belief will always be on the resistance front and will always shine.

Secretary of the Expediency Discernment Council: "We have a formula in the Islamic Revolution that turns threats into opportunities, which I call the technology of the revolution. There are three stages: we create opportunities with resistance, we exploit after opportunities, and then I build the necessary systems and institutions. That is, we not only extinguish any fire that rises, but also create a green and prosperous land from the heart of the same fire. For example, in the Holy Defense, for the first time in 300 years, we have rebuilt Iran's authority. Not only did we drive Saddam out of our land, but we also created a very strong defense force. If there was no war, we would not be able to do that.
Coronavirus is a global disease and has brought great countries like the United States and developed countries like Germany to their knees. Virtually everyone in the world sees their failure. The Americans themselves admitted that they had lost to Coronavirus, but we won. Major General Mohsen Rezaei: The newly formed ISIS is one hundred percent American. Even back then ISIS used to be American, but the Americans managed ISIS through a series of special people. For example, five or six ISIS leaders were in control, but the newly formed ISIS is completely American, and the Americans want ISIS in an area between Syria and Iraq, from the vicinity of Ain al-Assad to the Syrian border. They train and organize and use them for terrorist acts in Syria and Iraq. And somehow they will rebuild their military and prestige failures, which, of course, will fail again, as the previous ISIS failed. This ISIS again will certainly fail, because both the popular mobilization and the Iraqi army now have very good experiences, and their organization is much stronger. Dr. Mohsen Rezaei: "The Yemeni resistance showed a great revelation of the inhuman faces of Europe, the United States and Saudi Arabia. The Yemenis can almost be said to be doing the most unparalleled resistance. They are under siege and do not have access to water, food or fuel, and in addition to the siege, they are being bombed and shelled, and they have been infected with infectious diseases such as cholera for more than three years, affecting more than 200,000 people."
He praised the Yemeni resistance, adding: "It is less a nation that is simultaneously in three wars. Economic warfare, military warfare and disease warfare. This Yemeni resistance is strange and unique, and it should be called the miracle of resistance.
