Anti-Saudi protests in Baghdad

Iraqi citizens have taken over the office of Abu Mahdi al-Mohandes in protest of the Saudi MBC's insult to the martyr Abu Mahdi al-Mohandes.

NOURNEWS- Thousands of Iraqis demonstrated in front of the MBC office in Baghdad today. The protests took place in protest of the Saudi BBC's insult to the martyr Abu Mahdi al-Mohandes, the deputy head of the popular mobilization.

In a move in line with US and Israeli policies in the region, Saudi Arabia's MBC has called Abu Mahdi al-Mohandes a terrorist.

Protesters said the MBC network should apologize to the Iraqi people for insulting the martyr of the way to victory (Abu Mahdi al-Mohandes).

Iraqi sources say Iraqi protesters stormed the MBC office and set it on fire.

They also installed a banner on their head on the Saudi network, which read: "Closed by order of the nation."

Iraqi citizens chanted slogans against the Saudi MBC network, holding the Iraqi flag and pictures of the martyr Abu Mahdi al-Mohandes.
