Clashes between Turkish-affiliated groups in Syria

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported clashes between Turkish-affiliated groups near the Bab al-Salama crossing on the border with Turkey.

NOURNEWS- The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said that as the mobilization of groups based in the area escalated, the Fatah Division clashed on the one hand and the forces of the Levant Front on the other.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said the clashes were part of a crackdown on smuggling operations, adding that allied groups with Turkey were conducting operations to transport smuggled trucks to areas controlled by Damascus and Qassad (Syrian Democratic Forces) through crossroads. Their influence continues on the outskirts of Aleppo.

The center added that on May 13, it smuggled dozens of trucks under the supervision of the Al-Hamzeh Brigade to the Damascus area through the village of Al-Sukriyah on the outskirts of the city of Al-Bab in northeastern Aleppo. It has also monitored human trafficking and wanted figures from the Nablus and Al-Zahra areas to infiltration groups.

The Al-Hamzeh Brigade controls the smuggling routes in the city of Al-Bab, and the Ahrar al-Sharqiya Brigade dominates the Jarablus crossings. The Sultan Murad Brigade and the Northern Division are also involved, receiving large sums of more than $ 1,000 for each. The truck is passing by, and this has caused dissatisfaction among other groups stationed in the area.

On May 1, Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored clashes between al-Hamza and Ahrar al-Sham forces near smuggling crossings east of al-Bab, following clashes between the two sides over fuel smuggling to areas controlled by Damascus and two machine guns. Used.
