Trump: I have no desire to renegotiate a trade agreement with China

The US president, who has repeatedly said he seeks compensation from China over the outbreak of the coronavirus, said he was reluctant to renegotiate a trade agreement with China.

NOURNEWS- US President Donald Trump said Monday evening (Washington time) that the outbreak of the coronavirus should have stopped at the source of the outbreak.

Speaking at a news conference at the White House, he added: "I think it's very clear that the United States is leading the way in testing the Corona in the world."

"China's attempt to steal information about the Coronavirus vaccine is not new, and we are very careful," he said.

Regarding negotiations with China on a trade agreement, he said he had no intention of renegotiating a trade agreement with China.

While three White House staffers have contracted the coronavirus, Trump said in response to a question about the possibility of a coronavirus, he said he did not feel any vulnerability.
