Saudi ambassador's intervention in Beirut in the political dispute between the Hariri brothers

After the recent events in Lebanon and the political disputes between Saad al-Hariri and his brother, the Saudi ambassador in Beirut met with the former Lebanese Prime Minister.

NOURNEWS- Former Lebanese Prime Minister Saad al-Hariri met with Saudi Ambassador to Beirut Walid al-Bukhari yesterday.

The meeting came after recent tensions in Lebanon and disputes between Saad al-Hariri and his brother Baha al-Hariri.

Informed sources said that Saudi Arabia continues to support Saad al-Hariri, and that he is Riyadh's first ally, and that Saudi Arabia has no plans to support Baha'u'llah al-Hariri.

Al-Bakhari and Hariri met after Baha'u'llah Hariri announced his readiness to enter Lebanon's political arena and oust his brother.

In recent days, an unprecedented verbal clash has erupted between the two brothers' supporters, indicating that there is a possibility of a clash between the sons of Hariri in the coming days.

Earlier in the year, Baha'u'llah al-Hariri said in a statement: "Since 2005 (the year of Rafiq al-Hariri's assassination), most Lebanese politicians have been looting the property and interests of the country and the Lebanese people, creating quadripartite and five-way alliances. Lebanon fell victim to these games.
