The Syrian army thwarted a large-scale terrorist attack in northern Hama

Armed groups in northern Syria violated the ceasefire and attacked Syrian army bases in Sahl al-Ghab, northwest of Hama, but the Syrian army thwarted the attack.

NOURNEWS- The Wahd al-Mu'minin Operations Room, which includes the Harass al-Din and the Turkestan Party and other groups, said it had attacked Syrian army bases on the Sahl al-Ghab axis and taken control of al-Tanjra village and other areas.

According to Syrian sources, for the first time since the ceasefire agreement between Russia and Turkey in northern Syria, there have been heavy clashes in northwestern Hama, and terrorists have used car bombs, suicide bombers and Tau and Grad missiles. The Syrian army also fired artillery shells at their bases in southern Idlib.

Sources say the Syrian army has mobilized its forces in the area and thwarted the attacks.

After the Syrian army took control of large areas on the outskirts of Idlib, Hama and Aleppo, Turkey and Russia reached an agreement on a ceasefire and military operations were halted.
