NOURNEWS- Iraqi Prime Minister Mustafa al-Kazemi met with Matthew Tuller, the US ambassador to Baghdad.
Al-Kazemi said during the meeting, which took place at the Iraqi Prime Minister's Office, that Iraq would not be the scene of settling accounts and attacking any neighboring or friendly country.
The Iraqi Prime Minister stressed the need for cooperation and coordination between the two countries in the economic and security fields, the fight against terrorism and preparation for strategic talks between the United States and Iraq, and efforts to maintain security and stability in the region and avoid danger.
On the other hand, Tuller congratulated Al-Kazemi on the fact that his cabinet has won the confidence of the Iraqi parliament, and announced Washington's readiness to support Iraq in all areas, especially economic and counter-terrorism.
