The task of 18 ministries in the Iraqi cabinet has been decided

Al-Hikma's representative in the Iraqi parliament announced today before the beginning of the parliamentary vote of confidence in Al-Kazemi's cabinet that 18 ministries have been decided so far.

NOURNEWS- The representative of the Iraqi "Al-Hikma" movement announced today that 18 ministries in the cabinet of "Mohammad Al-Kazemi" have been appointed to form a new government and there is no discussion about the names of the ministerial candidates.

Hassan Fadam noted that the talks were over to close the cabinet case and that a vote of confidence in parliament would be held today, despite opposition from some political factions. So far, 18 ministries have been agreed by political parties and four ministries. They had until last night to make a decision before the meeting.

He added: "The new cabinet consists of independent ministers who have been nominated by the Prime Minister to the political factions, and most of the candidates for ministerial posts are employees of the relevant ministries."

The Iraqi parliamentarian stressed that the cabinet was formed under the supervision of Shiite, Sunni and Kurdish groups, and that there were no controversial names among the candidates; however, some names may be removed from the vote of confidence and depend on the opinion of members of parliament.

Fadam clarified that the criterion for forming a new government is based on merit, purity and efficiency, but nevertheless the names of some candidates in parliament may be rejected.
