Iran Air announced extraordinary flights to return Iranians living in Austria, Hungary, Slovakia, Poland, Spain and Qatar to Tehran and Shiraz this week.

NOURNEWS- The Airlines of the Islamic Republic of Iran (Homa) announced: Following the request of compatriots residing in Austria, Hungary, Slovakia and Poland to return to the country, the Airlines of the Islamic Republic of Iran "Homa", a flight scheduled for Tuesday, May 6 has done.

The flight is coordinated by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and licensed by the Ministry of Health, with the necessary permits from the Austrian Civil Aviation Authority.

The flight from Tehran to Vienna Airport will take place at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, May 6. The return flight will take place on the same day at 13:50 local time from Vienna Airport to Imam Khomeini Airport.

Two special flights to Tehran-Madrid-Tehran

The airline also announced two flights to Spain at the request of the Iranian embassy in the country and the issuance of a permit by our Ministry of Health.

According to Homa, following the outbreak of the Corona virus and the suspension of international flights, a number of compatriots and students living in Spain applied to return to the country. Two flights to return these compatriots to the country will take place on Monday, May 15 and Wednesday, May 17.

Compatriots applying for travel to Spain can also purchase a Tehran-Madrid ticket if they meet the following conditions.

Persons residing (with a residence card) in EU member states; also the spouse of a European citizen whose marriage or relationship is registered with the Public Registry Office; as well as children or parents who are under his / her care; In the Schengen countries and Andorra, which go directly to their place of residence.

2. Individuals with long-term visas issued by a Schengen member state if they are traveling to that country.

4. Health care workers or elderly nurses who are returning from or going to work.

5. The staff of the freight forwarding department, if the job is dignified. This includes ship crews and flight crews for commercial air transport. These people must ensure that they continue their journey immediately.

It should be noted that the first flight will take place on Monday, May 6, at 10:45 AM from Hazrat Imam Airport. The return flight will leave Madrid Airport at 16:15 local time on the same day for Imam Khomeini Airport and will land at 35:00 the next morning at Imam Khomeini Airport.

The flight will take place on Wednesday, May 6, at the same time.

It is worth mentioning that compatriots can go to Homa sales offices in Tehran to buy tickets.

Two special flights to repatriate compatriots from Qatar

Iran Air announced in another announcement: with the permission of the Ministry of Health and full compliance with health protocols, by performing two special flights, compatriots from Doha to Shiraz will be returned.

The statement added: "Following the spread of the Corona virus and the request of compatriots abroad to return to the country and the request of the Iranian Embassy in Qatar, the permit for two special flights to Doha was issued by Homa on 19 and 26 May."

The first flight of "Homa" will take place at 9:40 AM on Friday, May 7 (May 8) local time from Doha Airport and will land at 12:30 at Shahid Ayatollah Dastgheib Airport in Shiraz.

The second flight of "Homa" will take place on May 16 (May 15) in the same hours as before.

Compatriots can apply for tickets by visiting Homa's office in Doha.
