NOURNEWS- A well-informed source in the Iraqi parliament says that the speaker of the Iraqi parliament, Mohammad al-Halbousi, has asked the deputies to come to the parliament this Monday to examine the vote of confidence in Mustafa al-Kazemi's cabinet.
According to the source, al-Halbousi ordered planes to be sent to Baghdad from Erbil, Sulaymaniyah and Basra at 9 a.m. on Saturday.
Another source confirmed the news to Sumaria, saying that al-Halbousi had asked the delegates to be in Baghdad on Monday, but the timing of the vote of confidence was still unknown.
Next Sunday, Mustafa al-Kazemi's one-month legal deadline for a vote of confidence in parliament expires.
Iraqi sources say al-Kazemi has presented the names of his ministers to parliamentary factions and is awaiting a vote of confidence.
Earlier, Mustafa al-Kazemi tweeted that "the responsibility I have accepted in the current difficult circumstances and in the face of economic, health and security challenges is a national responsibility."
"The cabinet I am trying to form should be in line with the current crisis in the country and its solution," he added.
