NOURNEWS- Pyongyang announced on Friday that North Korean leader Kim Jong Un had received a letter from Syrian President Bashar al-Assad.
North Korea's official news agency reported that Kim Jong Un received a letter from the Syrian president on April 28 in response to a recent letter in which he noted the historical ties between the two countries and the strengthening of these ties in all areas. The common interests of the two friendly countries have been emphasized.
The Syrian president also wished the North Korean leader good health and the North Korean people progress and prosperity.
The Syrian president and the North Korean leader have exchanged several letters in recent months.
