NOURNEWS_ International Group: The Kabul Police Command, the capital of Afghanistan, announced on Monday that an explosion had taken place in the city.
According to the Kabul Police Command, a magnetic bomb was planted in a car carrying Afghan Defense Ministry employees and exploded in Kabul's Ninth Security District.
Information obtained by the media indicates that a number of people were injured in the blast, but no casualties have been reported so far.
No group or individual has claimed responsibility for the blast.
Since 2001, when NATO led an American-led terrorist campaign in Afghanistan under the pretext of fighting the 9/11 attacks, the number of military and civilian casualties has risen steadily in the country and has been the subject of reports from international organizations. Nineteen years after the occupation of Afghanistan by US-led multinational forces under the pretext of fighting terrorism, poverty and insecurity have increased across the country.
