NOURNEWS_International Group: According to Al-Yawm Al-Sabeeh news website, Yusuf bin Ahmad Al-Athimin, Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, stressed in a statement the need to return the situation in Aden to its previous conditions and cancel any action against the Riyadh peace agreement.
The Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) said that the Riyadh agreement on Yemen enjoys the support of the world and the United Nations, adding that it was important and called for its implementation.

The UAE-backed South Yemeni Transitional Council announced an autonomous government in the southern Yemeni provinces yesterday morning (Sunday).

The move by the South Yemeni Transitional Council follows a dispute with the government of resigned and fugitive Yemeni President Mansour Hadi, which is backed by Saudi Arabia.

On November 5, 2009, an agreement was signed between the resigned Saudi-backed government and the UAE-backed South Yemeni Transitional Council with the mediation of the Saudis, known as the Riyadh Agreement.
Riyadh's most important clauses include the establishment of the government of Abdurrahman Mansour Hadi in Aden over a seven-week period, the concentration of military forces under the Ministries of Interior and Defense, the joint confrontation with the Ansarullah movement, and the formation of a committee to monitor the Riyadh agreement. Saudi Arabia and the appointment of 12 ministers from the Southern Transitional Council in the next government out of a total of 24 cabinet ministers.
