NOURNEWS_ International Group: Sources close to the group known as the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) reported that US troops have been patrolling villages and towns in the al-Darbayseh area north of al-Hasakah since this morning.

Al-Arabi Al-Jadeed News Agency quoted the sources as saying that the US military's patrol is aimed at protecting its bases and oil facilities in areas controlled by the Syrian Democratic Forces.

The International Coalition Air Force also flew over al-Shaddadi, south of al-Hasakah, on Sunday evening after a patrol by Syrian Democratic Forces targeted an unidentified gunman.

A convoy of 30 tanks and trucks carrying weapons and ammunition for the US military also entered the city of al-Qamishli in al-Hasakah province from Iraq yesterday.

Syrian Democratic Forces on Sunday targeted a hand grenade near the town of Al-Susa, east of Deir ez-Zor. Two similar attacks took place around the Al-Tanak oil field and on the outskirts of the new town of Baqarah in Deir ez-Zor in eastern Syria against elements of the group, which caused only material damage.

Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) have recently been targeted in al-Hasakah and Deir ez-Zor, with officials blaming ISIL for dormant nuclear facilities.

Russian military equipment entered northern al-Raqqa

Meanwhile, Russian military equipment arrived in the town of Ain Isa in the northwestern province of al-Raqqa today. The move follows the killing of two Syrian government forces by a hand grenade planted by unknown individuals around the city.

Al-Arabi Al-Jadeed quoted local sources as saying: "Russian military equipment has reached the deployment of Russian forces in the city, and part of it has reached the Tel Tamr area on the outskirts of al-Hasakah, near the outskirts of al-Raqqa."

Two Syrian government forces, along with the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) based in the Ain Isa area, were killed in an attack by unknown individuals with a hand grenade.

Russian and Syrian government forces have been in the areas controlled by the Syrian Democratic Forces in al-Raqqa and al-Hasakah since October, during a memorandum of understanding aimed at halting Turkey's advance in the region.
