In the letter, which the Foreign Ministry shared on its Telegram page, Araghchi described the US sanctions and attempt to stop other countries from cooperating with Iran as a violation of the UN Charter.
He slammed Washington's efforts as illegal, unilateral, and "bullying."
Araghchi called on the UN to condemn and reject the US measures and respect Iran's right to sovereign equality.
Araghchi also urged reparations and the creation of a report on the humanitarian and human rights consequences of the US strikes on Iran.
