The ceremony was held on Tuesday afternoon at the invitation of the current Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Mojtaba Khamenei.
It was attended by Ayatollah Seyyed Hassan Khomeini, grandson of founder of the Islamic Republic Imam Khomeini, Hojjatoleslam Masoud Khamenei and Hojjatoleslam Mostafa Khamenei, the surviving family members of the martyred Leader.
Also, the First Vice President Mohammad-Reza Aref, Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, Judiciary Chief Hojjatoleslam Gholamhossein Mohseni-Ejei, as well as governmental and military officials and a large crowd of admirers of the martyred Leader of the Islamic Revolution attended the ceremony.
