According to a statement from the IRGC Navy on Tuesday, the ships were permitted to cross the strategic water, under full security from Iran and in coordination with the country's naval forces.
The statement underscored that the Iranian Armed Forces are carrying out intelligent control of the strait with authority, adding that evil foreign forces have no place in the Persian Gulf and the Strait of Hormuz.
Shipping traffic through the Strait of Hormuz, a major maritime chokepoint for world energy trade, was blocked after the US and the Israeli regime jointly launched an unprovoked war of aggression against Iran on February 28.
Iran has repeatedly said that insecurity in the Persian Gulf region, was the result of aggressive US and Israeli actions, emphasizing that Iran and Oman, as coastal states, are responsible for adopting mechanisms to ensure the safe passage of ships.
