Pakistan Army Chief to Visit Tehran

Field Marshal Asim Munir, the Chief of the Pakistan Army, will visit Tehran today as part of consultations and talks that Pakistan has been conducting with Iran and the United States in a mediating role.

Nournews: The Chief of the Pakistan Army will visit Tehran today to continue consultations.

A day earlier, Syed Mohsin Naqvi, Pakistan’s Interior Minister, arrived in Tehran for the second time in a week and held meetings with his Iranian counterpart as well as President Masoud Pezeshkian.

Masoud Pezeshkian, while reviewing the latest regional developments and bilateral relations between the two countries, discussed and exchanged views on the ongoing indirect negotiations between Iran and the United States, as well as diplomatic efforts and recent developments.

Both sides emphasized the importance of continuing political consultations and strengthening regional cooperation, along with addressing the latest developments in negotiations, diplomatic initiatives, and strategies aimed at enhancing stability and security in the region.
