Esmail Baqaei made the announcement in an interview with India Today Global on Tuesday.
He said that Iran and India are both members of BRICS and the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) and have a good level of cooperation and coordination in both organizations.
Baqaei added that the simultaneous meeting is of importance to Iran and Tehran looks forward to bilateral meetings with other ministers participating in this event, including the foreign minister of India as a friendly country.
In response to a question about the US threats of a ground attack and Iran’s response to these threats, he said with certainty that the Armed Forces of Iran are ready for any scenario, adding that anyone who dares to set foot on Iranian soil will be severely punished.
